Just an 80 -plus -year- old grandmother who is keeping her mind active by posting some simple blogs from time to time. This gives me something to do that is somewhat creative each day. I have to remember how to take a few photos and once taken how to add them to my blog. Feedback is welcome. Photos by me unless otherwise noted.

Johnny Mac's Smoked Salmon
Our nearest neighbors here in Marble Mountain are Johnny Mac and Patti who live at the top of the hill. This afternoon Patti surprised us with a nice fillet of salmon that Johnny Mac had smoked. It was smoked to perfection—delicious! That along with heirloom tomatoes that I found at Sobey’s (our local grocery) in Port Hawkesbury made for a perfect supper.
What wonderful neighbors we have!

We are so glad you enjoyed the salmon. The presentation looks awesome!! We made some seafood chowder this afternoon and I plan to call you in the morning to see if you would like some of that as well. I had some for supper this evening and I found it very yummy and sinful.
