I really enjoy the cartoons in the New Yorker, and the December 30, 2019 issue had a DIY cartoon activity that I decided to attempt since I have set aside today to have fun, relax, and enjoy the day. So here is my DIY cartoon.
Instructions in The New Yorker for DIY cartoon. I cut how what I needed for my cartoon. |
Now those of you who know the story of how Dan (my husband) and his graduate student, Joe escaped a crocodile that attacked their rubber boat back on November 11, 1960 while they were sounding a lake in Africa that they were researching. The boat was sinking, and fortunately, the croc stayed with the boat to try to take it under. Meanwhile, Joe and Dan swam for about 2 hours and escaped its mighty jaws.
